At Italsed our approach to chair making is simple. Skilled craftsmen taking pride in building products with high quality finishes following exacting standards. This simple approach has led us to become one of the most trusted and well respected chair manufacturers in Italy.

We occupy 400,000 sqft in Udine, Italy and manufacture chairs for the Worldwide market. Our strengths include retail partnerships and specialty contract chairs for Hotels, Airport lounges across the world.

History

Italsed was founded and created in 1983 in Udine, which is in North East Italy. A small distance of 1 hour from Venice and 30 mins from Trieste. This stunning and beautiful part of Italy has been the home of Italsed since it started but more recently we also have offices in London and Norfolk in the UK.

Still a privately owned Italian manufacturer this independence has been at the core of our success.
The company has evolved in to a significant manufacturer boasting the latest machinery and automation for the production of chair manufacture.

Our factory is close to the city of Udine, situated in the renowned Italian Chair District, an industrial area where businesses have manufactured chairs since the end of 1800. Italsed’s Italian offices are in the centre of Friuli Venezia Giulia, a region recently mentioned by Lonely Planet among the Best in Travel places for 2016.
