At Italsed we use only the most advanced technologies in our design and manufacturing techniques which allow us to make 700-800 chairs a day of the highest quality and at a competitive cost.

We comply with the UK Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 (amended 1989, 1993 and 2010).
Fabrics we use are sourced worldwide and work to the brief from all customers to specific fabric needs.

As part of our ongoing commitment to using sustainable raw materials, Italsed uses a Chain of Custody procedure in compliance with the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) criteria. We also strictly adhere to the Ethical Trading Initiative.

Italsed is committed to avoid any involvement with:

  • Illegal logging or trade in illegal wood or forest products
  • Violation of traditional human rights in forestry operations
  • Destruction of high conservation values in Forestry operations
  • Significant conversions of forests to plantations or non-forest use
  • Introduction of genetically modified organisms in forestry operations
  • Violation of the ILO Core conventions, as defined in the ILO Declaration of Fundamental Principals & Right at Work, 1998
  • Furthermore, ITALSED Srl declares to:

    • not to employ child labor;

    • avoid internally all forms of forced and compulsory labor;

    • ensure that there is no internal discrimination in terms of employment and profession;

    • respect the freedom of association and the effective right to collective bargaining of its workers.

Human Rights Policy
